Absolutely fantastic place! Go out of your way to eat here even if you're just passing through. BBQ, sides, and service were all stellar. We had the Shaq Attack which was the perfect sampler. Dog friendly with lots of relaxed outdoor seating. Staff were wonderful and the portions were great. Bonus points for souvenir cups!

Yesssss. When you walk in the smell tells you it's going to be great and then it is! The steelhead taco is insanely great 👍😃 as is the meatloaf sandwich 🥪. Brisket, pulled pork both fantastic. Insanely sweet sweet tea. Great owner.

Traveling thru on 40, found this place on Google. Will be back, Elwood's did not disappoint. The gentleman at the counter (proprietor?)took the time to welcome us and I introduce/orient us on the dense menu. The shirts hanging on the wall convinced me to get a fish taco and I'd seen a review on the "debris" po-boy. Done. Some of the best food I've found on my travels in the US. Hole in the wall shacks are the absolute best. Don't think you can go wrong here, make the stop you won't regret it.
